Virginie Basselot is the female MOF 2015. What is MOF? Meilleur Ouvrierde France (MOF) chefs will be honored to wear the famous tricolour collar, real symbol of excellence. Since 1924, date of creation of this competition, one other woman only has been rewarded. Imagination is all in Virginie Basselot’s kitchen. She is now head chef of Restaurant du Saint James Paris. Virginie’s cuisine is refreshingly innovative, always in step with the seasons and inspired by ingredients grown in the Saint James Paris vegetable garden. The plating is exquisite, ethereal even, and forever in good taste. Her truly feminine touch has blossomed in the inspiring environment the Saint James Paris provides.
