Six Senses Zighy Bay Retains Awards as Oman’s Leading Resort, Oman’s Leading Spa Resort and Oman’s Best Luxury Destination Spa

Congratulations to Six Senses Zighy Bay, was once again awarded the honour of being Oman’s Leading Resort and Oman’s Leading Spa Resort at the gala event on 5th May, 2013 by World Travel Awards. Renewing these titles for a fourth and second time respectively* at the Dubai ceremony, General Manager Axel Jarosch accepted the awards on behalf of Six Senses.
Thanking the resort’s dedicated team of hosts, Axel enthused, “Exceptional efforts and dedication should be rewarded, and I accept these honours on behalf of our family at the resort. I am very proud of the unique guest experiences we continue to offer. Tonight we are not rewarded for consistency, but for our ever-evolving spectrum of offerings. The World Travel Awards have been regarded as the “Oscars of the Travel Industry”** and are a highlight in the year’s award season. In March, Six Senses Zighy Bay also received its sophomore honour as Oman’s Best Luxury Destination Spa by the World Luxury Spa Awards. Citing the diverse offering of wellness and spa opportunities for guests, Director of Spa and Wellness Steve Harvey stated, “Our Spa is world-class and continues to redefine its respected position in its category.
